We are delighted that motion F16 “Getting the Nation Walking, Wheeling and Cycling” was passed by Liberal Democrat Autumn Conference in Brighton on 20th September 2026.

This policy recognises that promoting walking, wheeling and cycling is not just transport policy – it’s also preventive healthcare, environmental action, and economic common sense.

This motion was proposed by Olly Glover, Liberal Democrat MP for Didcot & Wantage, Lib Dem Transport Spokesperson and our Honorary President.
